Wheal Coates Canvas Print

In June 2006 Wheal Coates mining landscape was selected to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This land is now an annual to Cornish Tin Mining history. Situated in St Agnus the majestic, cliff’s are awash with colour and a plethora of vibrant wild flowers, which are being buffeted by biting coastal winds.  You can walk through the tin mines ruins, depicted in my painting and explore the magical coastal paths.

This really is a magical place, and a haven for those who are inspired and captivated by mother nature. There were so many colours and textures to depict in this image and I’m so pleased with the finished piece, I hope that you enjoy your canvas print.
