Polperro Harbour Canvas Print

£40.00£60.00

The quaint fishing village of Polperro in Cornwall is steeped in history, right from the 14th century mill featuring a 12 ton water wheel at the town’s entrance, to its history of smuggling activities, particularly in the 17th century. It’s narrow streets means cars are banned, making it a haven explored best on foot. Credit www.cornwalls.co.uk/polperro

If I am to paint landscapes, I have to be really inspired by my surroundings. Polperro is awash with independent shops, ancient, flower lined buildings and art galleries, whilst It’s harbour really is a tranquil hive of activity and it’s this contrast that inspired to paint this piece. I really hope that you enjoy my take on one of my favorite places to visit in The Southwest, expertly reproduced in canvas print.
